Scheduling

- Lessons will be scheduled once a week, for one-half hour (30 mins)

- By selecting your weekly schedule, you are committing to this time slot, and once confirmed, cannot be rescheduled

- The lesson will begin promptly at the agreed-upon time and will go for the entire half-hour.  Students who are late will end at the originally scheduled time

Lesson Rescheduling & Cancellation

- Should a student fall ill and be unable to attend the lesson, a doctor’s note will be required in order to reschedule the lesson

-  Only when there proves to be no agreeable time to reschedule the lesson will a refund be considered

- It is understood that life has many unexpected surprises in store.  Should something come up where the student believes there is a reasonable situation, other than medical, where a lesson should be rescheduled, a written request will be expected as soon as the situation arises

- If a lesson is missed by the teacher, the student will be given the option to reschedule or receive a refund

During The Lesson

Music lessons are an invaluable investment in you or your child’s development.  In order to get the most from each lesson:

- Ensure that the room is quiet, well lit, and free of distractions (TVs, siblings, pets etc) so that focus can remain on the class and lesson material

- Please dress appropriately to learn (No pyjamas etc)

- Make sure that notifications for apps are turned off on the device that the student is using

- Ensure all assignments/tasks have been completed and the appropriate materials are with the student for every lesson

After The Lesson

- Each lesson will be recorded and kept for one week.  If requested, the video can be forwarded to the student to help with practice or to simply check in on how lessons are going

- There is work to be done between each lesson.  The work will be communicated clearly at the end of every lesson, with the expectation that it is to be completed before the start of the following lesson

- The teacher will be available through email, phone, and website during the week should the student require assistance.  You should receive an answer within 24 hours
